Member of Japan Illustrators Association. Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture and bred in Osaka and Kyoto.
After graduating from a university, I worked at an automobile sales company, making pop advertising and posters, and designing ad characters. And then I became a freelance illustrator.
At present I draw illustrations for Smart Phone covers and book covers, and design characters for applications.
My specialty is Japanese style. I draw people, kimono, cats, flowers, Japanese-style rooms, etc. I like to add the sense of the seasons to my illustrations. Also, I am particular about the pattern of a kimono and an obi (sash).
I plan to hold a solo exhibition in New York in the spring of 2014.
