After learned drawing by myself, I started activities as a freelance illustrator in 1995. In 2006 I held a solo exhibition in New York for which I created my original category of “Modern IT Ukiyoe.” I have held exhibitions overseas such as NY, LA, Paris, Melbourne and so on.
The features of my drawing are vivid colors and minutely-expressed details on a whole screen as a result of thorough investigations of Japanese culture and history in relation to the theme. My works are modern ukiyoe created with digital and hand-painting techniques.
